US Vice President JD Vance has comments on the ongoing conflict in Iran while filling in for a White House press briefing. Vance asserted the regime needed to stop acting like "crazy people" and stop shooting at commercial shipping. The vice president said there would be no peace talks with the Iranian regime until attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz stopped. Responding to CNN's Caitlin Collins, Vance said he did not know when the conflict would stop, declaring that he did not believe the situation with Iran was a war. The vice president went on to say Iran's attack on commercial vessels is having less impact on the global energy market every day.
