The White House says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request for Patriot missiles is being considered but has indicated that its current focus is on supplying and producing American weapons for the war in Iran. The comments come as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has escalated significantly in recent months. Speaking about the war, Mr Zelensky also shared a lighter moment during a recent interview, saying he hopes to drink beers on the beach once the conflict with Russia comes to an end.
