Trump unveils signed plaque to be placed on the moon in 2028

NASA has unveiled a plaque signed by President Donald Trump that will be placed on the moon when the next astronauts land in 2028. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman read the plaque aloud at Johnson Space Center in Houston on Friday, where Trump awarded "Congressional Space Medals of Honor" to the Artemis II crew. "America has returned," Isaacman said. "Under the leadership of President Donald Trump... here marks the beginnings of humanity's first outpost on another world." Artemis IV is set to return humans to the lunar surface for the first time in over 54 years, with astronauts spending about a week near the Moon's South Pole conducting research.
