Trump says he will 'soon' declare Strait of Hormuz a US territory

US President Donald Trump has announced he will declare the Strait of Hormuz an American territory. “After we finish defeating Iran, which is being very badly defeated,” Mr Trump said. “Pretty soon, I’ll be declaring the Strait of Hormuz a territory of the United States.”
