Trump ‘in a lot of trouble politically’ as he changes his tune on China threat

The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says US President Donald Trump is in some political trouble for changing his tune on China as a threat amid China’s President Xi Jinping’s visit to the US. “The US system has been screaming at us for 10 years that the number one threat in the world is China,” Mr Sheridan told News24. “Now Trump is acting as though China is no threat at all. “In fact, the US ambassador to China claimed that Trump had offered to sell weapons to China, which is just absolutely unbelievable.”
