US President Donald Trump is threatening to bomb Oman as it reportedly closes in on a deal with Iran to control the Strait of Hormuz. “If Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the s**t out of them,” President Trump said. The White House has maintained one of its key goals is to fully reopen the waterway for free passage. President Trump also reiterated that the main objective is stopping Iran from having nuclear capabilities. Iran told Reuters it plans to escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz if diplomacy continues to fail and it’s giving the US a few weeks to fully implement the MOU and end its naval blockade.
