Former White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley says Michigan Senate nominee and Democratic Socialist Abdul El-Sayed is “trapped” over whether he should ditch Hasan Piker or not. “If you’re running for office and you have Hassan Piker with you, if you sideline Hassan Piker, he’s going to go after you and bring all his minions along with him who hate America,” Mr Hogan told News24 host Danica De Giorgio. “If you cosy up to him, then the moderates who you need to get over the finish line, they’re not going to support you. “These candidates kind of share the values, and share the ideologies, and share the policies of these radicals like Hasan Piker.”
