Three firefighters die as Greece battles out of control blazes

Greece has become the latest frontier in Europe’s battle with wildfires as three firefighters died while tackling out of control blazes. Authorities report 51 forest and agricultural blazes have broken out. A partial evacuation notice has been issued for a suburb just outside Athens as strong winds whip up the wildfires. Emergency crews are struggling to control the flames as winds of up to 88 kilometres per hour hamper aircraft operations.
