Israel's ambassador to Australia is condemning pro-Palestinian vigils planned for today's anniversary of the October 7 attacks. It's been three years since the attacks by Hamas, which killed 1,200 people. Since then, tens of thousands have died as a result of subsequent Israeli military action. Pro-Palestine groups are planning two separate vigils in Sydney and Wollongong today. Israeli Ambassador Hillel Newman has labelled those vigils as 'absolutely reprehensible', joining forces with prominent Jewish leaders who are calling them a 'celebration of a death cult'.
