‘They knew they were lying’: Democrats slammed over sanctuary city policies and illegal immigration

Former Assistant Attorney General Theo Wold accuses Democratic leaders of selectively enforcing the law by supporting sanctuary policies that limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities. “I think it was a really effective job by Secretary Mullen to finally give proof to the lie that Democrats are willing to enforce the law,” Mr Wold told News24 host Elizabeth Pipko. “Yet when it comes to immigration law, which is a duly enacted statute by Congress signed by subsequent presidents, the Democrats are nowhere to be found. “Here's where the Democrats knew they were lying, not only to their Republican counterparts, but to the American people the entire time. ‘Major edifice of big city blue policy is what they call sanctuary policy, essentially a non-enforcement agreement that any law, whether it's on the criminal sort of penal code side or immigration law, will be enforced against foreign nationals.”
