The slippery slope of the NSW government’s harmful pill testing explained

News24 host Peta Credlin has criticised the New South Wales government’s decision to roll out pill testing at selected music festivals from October. “The best way to ensure you don’t die from a drug overdose is to make sure you don’t take the drugs in the first place,” Ms Credlin said. “(And) the cost to test these drugs on offer will be picked up by the poor old taxpayer to the tune of four and a half million dollars.”
