'The normal candidate always wins’: El-Sayed triumph a ‘great thing’ for Michigan Republicans

​News24 host James Morrow says Democrat Abdul El-Sayed’s primary win is a “great thing” for Republicans. ​“So the Republicans were looking at big losses in Congress, and now it’s like, well, if they’re going to run a whole bunch of really hard-left people, normal Americans, guys like that…are going to say El-Sayed or generic Republican, the Republican wins every time,” Mr Morrow told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. ​“What is my first rule of politics ... The more normal candidate always wins.”
