‘The EU will be shifting in a different direction’: AfD’s historic win in Germany rocks Europe

Political analyst Joe Siracusa has commented on far-right party Alternative for Germany’s historic win in a key state election. AfD has secured 44 per cent of the vote in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, according to exit polls. “It suggests that the EU will be shifting in a different direction,” Mr Siracusa told News24. “Germany is the heart of the European Union.”
