‘That’s why I won’: Trump claims his border policy was central to his presidential election

US President Donald Trump addresses a crowd at his Arizona rally, claiming he won the presidential election on his border policies. President Trump then turned to a member of the crowd who was dressed as a wall and celebrated his outfit, labelling him a “brilliant man” and “a genius”. “That’s why I won, see that man,” he said. “You know they forget we gave you a safe border; the border was so bad I probably won on the border.”
