SpaceX Starship explodes in huge fireball as shocked crowd watches on

A crowd of onlookers has been left shocked as a SpaceX Starship rocket exploded shortly after splashing down. The uncrewed vehicle lifted off from Starbase in Texas. Despite losing one engine during the ascent to space, the spacecraft successfully executed its orbital insertion burn during its 14th flight test. Along its journey, the first batch of new Starlink satellites were deployed. The mission had to be cut short as a result of the engine malfunction, making a controlled but fiery touchdown in the Pacific.
