‘Sickening’: Mamdani told to stay far away from 9/11 events

Former Republican nominee for the US Senate Rik Mehta says New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani should stay away from 9/11 events over his inability to condemn those responsible. “Mamdani does not get to lecture us on what that day means," Mr Mehta told News24 host James Morrow. “They don’t want him there because Ground Zero is sacred … it’s not a stage for politicians who have absolutely no sympathy. “At the end of the day … it was full terrorism and murder. “Should have the decency to stay away when you don’t even condemn those that were responsible for it. It’s sickening.”
