Shocking footage as knife-wielding maniac shot dead by NYPD following violent rampage

The New York Police Department have shot and killed a knife-wielding maniac following a stabbing attack on two people. The female suspect randomly launched a stabbing attack on a male and a female, killing one and leaving another injured. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed the death of one of the victims, with the other in hospital but in a stable condition. The 20-second stabbing frenzy on West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue was cut short after the attacker confronted police with two knives. According to the NYPD, the attacker threatened to kill the officers on the scene before being shot dead after approaching them.
