‘She’s not going to have a good time’: Gavin Newsom’s warning to Kamala Harris

The Article III Project Senior Counsel Will Chamberlain argues California Governor Gavin Newsom has good reason to discourage Kamala Harris from entering the presidential race because they would compete for the same Democratic voters. “I actually take him at his word,” Mr Chamberlain told News24 host Rita Panahi. “If Kamala got in the race, it would be a real problem for Gavin Newsom to get other votes. “They’re both from California; they’ve known each other for decades now, so I’m not surprised that what he’s trying to do now, before this even gets started, is to kind of remind her that she’s not going to have a good time. “It’s just not a good situation for him; it would really hurt him.”
