Republicans score ‘big win’ in fight over mail-in voting

News24 host James Morrow hailed a "big win" for Republicans after a recent court ruling allowed US President Donald Trump’s mail-in voting plan to advance. “A federal judge this week gave the Republicans a big win in their fight to control what many say leads to votes coming from people who shouldn't even be on the rolls, allowing fraud to enter the system,” Mr Morrow said. “As a result, the US Postal Service will now only deliver mail-in ballots in states which share their voter rolls with the federal government. “It's a fight over whether we keep the weirdness or start putting voting back into a system where it’s in a room, on one day, with all of your other citizens. “Trump's order, the one that's the subject of this court fight, does not magically abolish mail-in voting … it tries to put some control on it, a lead on it.”
