​Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer believes Republicans still have a “decent chance” of holding both houses of Congress in January. ​“It's going to be close, but let’s bear in mind that Republicans currently have a six-seat advantage in the Senate, and in the US House, which historically might flip in a year like this year,” Mr Hammer told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. ​“At this point…I think a lot of people think I’m crazy; I think Republicans have a decent chance, frankly, of holding both houses of Congress come January.”
