RBA uncertainty fuels ASX market tension

CommSec's James Tao says ASX futures are up slightly, but all eyes are on the September CPI, with a "60 per cent chance" of an RBA move next week. “The Aussie market futures are actually pointing a little bit high at the moment, up around a fifth of 1 per cent,” Mr Tao told News24. “A lot of what actually happens on the ASX today will hinge on the release of those September quarter CPI numbers. “Currently, markets are pricing in about a 60 per cent chance … that we will see a move by the RBA next Tuesday.” Presented by CommSec.
