Ratcliffe’s visit to Russia signals possible progress in the Ukraine war

Republican Strategist Katie Zacharia says CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s trip to Russia is a positive sign for the future of the war in Ukraine. ​“This is exactly what the director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, should be doing… If we are going to help the Ukraine and the Russia conflict, then I think diplomatic, or at least hard discussions with the powers at be is absolutely necessary,” Ms Zacharia told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. ​“He [Trump] sends in his team to do a lot of the hard negotiations, and then he is at the helm, whether or not there can be a deal made. ​“I think this is actually a good sign. ​“I hope that the sides can come together and put a stop to this.”
