‘Putin is a psychopath’: Russia accused of pushing Europe towards the brink

Former Labor Minister Stephen Conroy warns Vladimir Putin will continue escalating Russia’s shadow war until European nations demonstrate they are prepared to push back. “That's very disturbing,” Mr Conroy told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “The British intelligence services are very much, and I mean this in almost a literal sense, plugged into what is the thinking at the top of the Kremlin. “And I'd be very disturbed. “The Russians are, I won't call it clever, but they are testing the will of the German and European peoples as to whether or not they think that there'll be resistance if they start striking in this, you know, not quite full and declared war. “Putin is a psychopath. “He will continue to push the envelope, push the grey war, the shadow war, until someone pushes back.”
