‘Out of his depth’: Macron failing to control his left-leaning teen followers

Strelmark President and Founder Hilary Fordwich examines the “ironic” behaviour of students protesting education standards while destroying their own schools. “Riots and protests aren’t anything new to the French, but this is something on a scale with 15 to 18 year olds that has never been seen, and there over 400 schools that are now closed,” Ms Fordwich told News24. “The thing that is so ironic is if these students that really and truthfully care about the conditions of their schools, they’ve been burning schools, they’ve been attacking their own teachers. "Macron is out of his depth…they say it’s the far-left that’s really been influencing this perhaps, but Macron is left leaning and had not be able to create any kind of order.”
