‘Not serious about doing anything’: Labor’s migration overhaul all 'smoke and mirrors'

Shadow Communications Minister Sarah Henderson says Labor is “not serious” about reducing migration numbers and criticises its newly released overhaul. “Labor is addicted to mass migration, and this does nothing to bring down migration numbers,” Ms Henderson told News24 host Chris Kenny. ​“It is tinkering at the edges, it is bluff and bluster, it is smoke and mirrors, and it just goes to show that Labor is not serious about doing anything about migration. ​“Even if Labor gets to that target it will be a miracle because it continues to not reach its own targets.”
