Unherd Newsroom Editor James Billot says new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is feeling the pressure of the top job dealing with small boat channel crossings. Mr Billot told News24 “[Prime Minister Andy Burnham is] in the hot seat now”. “He’s finally seeing why so many prime ministers have failed at thus job,” he said. “Since 2018 there’s been around 200,000 small boat crossings. “No matter what way you try to slice this, it doesn’t look good for the prime minister.”
