Monumental pressure on Trump to ‘strike final blow’ on Iran or make concessions
Sky News AustraliaJNS News Washington Correspondent Mike Wagenheim says there is a lot of “pressure” on US President Donald Trump to either “strike the final blow” on Iran or to make the concessions he desperately doesn’t want to have to make. “They’ve been trying to sell that this war has been won on…up to 20,25, 30 occasions so far, only to go back and continually say that Iran is begging for a deal,” Mr Wagenheim told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “President Trump more than anything right now… is feeling pressure not from Democrats but from Republicans…to either find a way out of this war, even if it means concessions which he certainly doesn’t want to do. “Or strike a final blow, throw everything you have in the kitchen sink at the Iranians and get it done one way or another.”
