Ministry of Defence hotline calls unanswered as UK village rocked by bomb plot

Strelmark President and Founder Hilary Fordwich speaks on the “frightened” community impacted by the suspected bomb plot on a local Air Force base. “I’ve heard from people that live relatively close… they say they’ve heard plane after plane taking off, so this is has been very much noticed by the entire community,” Ms Fordwich told News24. “Members of the community have felt rather frightened because of course obviously the Iranians said… anywhere that facilitated the American operations… would be considered a target. “It was a female farmer… she called the local MOD [Ministry of Defence] hotline, and no one even answered, were they asleep I don’t know, but she actually had to call the local police.”
