Former White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley says the little ramifications US President Donald Trump will face if the Republicans lose the midterms could see “ramped up” strikes on Iran. “I think that Iran understands too that if the Republicans lose the midterms, you have that time period between November and January where the new crop is sworn in,” Mr Hogan told News24 host Danica De Giorgio. “You think Iran is scared or isn’t scared now. You wait and see if he loses and there is no ramification, then I would say Katie bar the door because I could see him ramping up some kinetic activity by the likes of which we’ve never seen before.”
