Shadow Home Affairs and Immigration Minister Jonathon Duniam says Liberal Senator Dave Sharma and former treasurer Josh Frydenberg’s exclusion from giving evidence to the Royal Commission makes a “mockery” of the process. “I do find it more than passing strange that someone with such perspective, a community representative no less, but someone with the background like you say, has been excluded from the list to give evidence to the commission,” Mr Duniam told News24 host Chris Kenny. “We’ve seen elements of this all the way along, the government, of course, trying to prevent certain documents from being provided. “But again, it makes a mockery of the entire process. “So I hope things change and that further evidence is sought from people like Dave Sharma and perhaps Josh Frydenberg as well because I think they’re important perspectives to take into account.”
