‘Lot of mistakes’: Trump attacks Fauci after tense US COVID hearing

US President Donald Trump criticises Anthony Fauci following his Senate testimony, accusing him of making huge mistakes during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I inherited Fauci. He was here from the 1980s, so I had him for a period of time, and I disagreed with him on a lot,” Mr Trump said. “I would have closed down the whole country if I listened to him. “He made a lot of mistakes.”
