Lebanon’s fall from grace: Once ‘Paris of the Middle East,’ now under Hezbollah’s grip

Activist and author Brigitte Gabriel reflected on Lebanon's dramatic transformation over the years, lamenting how the once cosmopolitan "Paris of the Middle East" has come under the control of Hezbollah and Iranian influence. “It used to be the Paris of the Middle East,” Ms Gabriel told News24. “Unfortunately, Lebanon is a majority-Muslim country controlled by a terrorist regime called Hezbollah, manipulated by the country Iran. “There are pockets of Lebanon that are thriving where the Christians live.”
