Shadow Communications Minister Sarah Henderson grilled department officials on the government's journalism grants in Senate Estimates on Tuesday. Labor was accused of deliberately excluding News Corp from taxpayer-funded journalism grants. “Yet you're funding the likes of Michael West Media, but not the Herald Sun, not the Courier Mail, not the Geelong Addy, not The Australian,” Ms Henderson said. “That seems like it's a very deliberate decision and very, very prejudicial to Australian journalism.”
