‘International embarrassment’: Biden attacked for costly Afghanistan withdrawal

​Republican Strategist Katie Zacharia attacks former US president Joe Biden for the costly withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 13 service members. ​“This is an injustice that could have been prevented,” Ms Zacharia told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. ​“This is not just a botched withdrawal from Afghanistan; it’s a national and international embarrassment that our country would exit Afghanistan in such a way and then leave the billions of dollars in equipment, allow service members to be killed, and show such weakness as a country.”
