If Iran link confirmed for hijacker, Israel to take action to ‘protect itself’

The Wall Street Journal Editor at Large Gerard Baker says if there is a confirmed link to the Iranian regime and the hijacker of the flydubai flight, then Israel will “take action” to protect itself. “Measures will have to be taken by that airline, of course, to ensure people like that aren’t flying planes,” Mr Baker told News24 Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus. “We’ll have to wait and see if there was a specific Iranian regime involved, and if there was, I would expect Israel to do what it's done in the past, which is to take action to protect itself.”
