Political Journalist John Fund says Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed is a “hypocrite” for campaigning on free services while his wife, who’s a doctor, refuses Medicare patients. “El-Sayed’s signature issue, when he’s not hanging around with Hasan Piker, his signature issue is nationalised healthcare,” Mr Fund told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “His wife, a doctor, doesn’t accept Medicare patients, which is our form of national healthcare in the US for people over the age of 65. “What a hypocrite, his wife won’t take Medicare patients, and he wants everybody to be under a system that’s even worse than Medicare.”
