Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has revealed he has caught up with King Charles in a Monday night phone conversation. Mr Albanese posted on social media shortly after the call concluded. “A privilege to speak with His Majesty King Charles III this evening. His affection for the Australian people remains strong,” he said in a post on X. “I extended Australia's best wishes to His Majesty and the Royal Family.”
