Former White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley says Democratic Socialists share the same “ridiculous, dangerous” vision for the US. ​These people are hellbent on the destruction of America as we know her today,” Mr Hogan told News24 host Danica De Giorgio. ​“They do want to rip her up from the roots and start all over with something that has proven to be a failure every time it has been tried. ​“So Mamdani, El-Sayed, and all of these folks who are so radical, and their friendships, and their acquaintances, and their partners, and their employees, share this ridiculous, dangerous vision.”
