‘Giant red hot rorts’: Labor engulfed by explosive $500 million grants scandal

On tonight’s episode of Paul Murray Live, News24 host Paul Murray unloads on the Albanese government over claims Labor directed around half a billion dollars in grants towards electorally important seats. “The prime minister, as much as he would love to change the subject, is not going to be able to change the subject from the giant red hot rorts that we’ve been talking about for the last couple of weeks,” Mr Murray said. “This was about half a billion dollars’ worth of money that the Labor Party decided to hand out to itself, only basically going to the seats that electorally mattered. “Even the ABC noticed that this stinks.”
