Germany accuses Russia of an attempted drone attack on major airport

Germany is claiming Moscow is behind an attempted drone attack on a Ukrainian cargo plane. Airport workers in the country’s east discovered a drone, laden with explosives and a detonator, at Leipzig Airport. Berlin has previously stopped short of blaming Russia, but sources claim it may soon impose sanctions on the Kremlin. European intelligence officials have long monitored what they describe as Russian sabotage in the continent designed to weaken NATO’s unity.
