‘Generational divide’ between older and younger Trump supporters over Iran war

UnHerd Newsroom Editor James Billot says there is now a “generational divide” between older Trump supporters and those who are turning to a populist direction. “There seems to be a real generational divide between the Trump supporters and those who are veering in a more populist direction toward JD Vance,” Mr Billot told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “There was a lot of disillusionment with Trump there, and this was very much for people under the age of 40, 35. “Nearly everyone I spoke to was just really disillusioned with the state of the Iran war. He promised it would only be a month or two, and it's now passed the six-month mark.”
