California Governor Gavin Newsom has revealed he will not run in the 2028 presidential election if Kamala Harris enters the race. Newsom’s bombshell revelation came during an interview with CNN anchor Jake Tapper. As the pair discussed several possible Democratic candidates, Harris’ name was mentioned, with Newsom ruling, “I wouldn’t run if she ran”. “I wouldn’t do that to her… I wouldn’t waste anyone’s time,” Newsom said.
