A man has been charged with arson for allegedly planning and igniting the Old Trails Fire in Spokane, Washington. Police say Aaron Farinacci told detectives, "Fire is powerful, beautiful, and that things that go through fire experience a kind of rebirth”. Mr Farinacci confessed to setting more than 25 fires since 2025.
