Fauci pleads the Fifth on answering for the origins of COVID-19

Chairman Rand Paul asks Dr Anthony Fauci if the scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology could manufacture a virus, and whether their experiments should have come under more investigation. “They were trying to discover if they could create a virus that can infect humans," Mr Paul said. “This kind of research should have had more scrutiny. “You trusted the Chinese scientists … the problem is even in our country we trust our scientists but at the same time we oversight.” Dr Fauci pleaded the Fifth Amendment.
