Expert warns Labor housing changes could put the 'Aussie dream' out of reach

OpenCorp Chief Executive Cam McLellan warns Labor’s changes to negative gearing and capital gains tax make it harder for everyday Australians to get into the housing market and achieve the “Australian dream”. “They [Labor] had an affordability problem, so the easy and popular action is to slap a property tax on it,” Mr McLellan told News24 host Caleb Bond. “They’ve got no way with putting a tax on it to get more tradies and homes built faster.”
