Expert explains why Australia's $1 trillion debt is still 'manageable'

S&P Global Ratings Director Anthony Walker weighs in on Australia's national debt hitting $1 trillion, marking a milestone in the markets. “We think it’s manageable. When we look at $1 trillion, it is a big number, but Australia's economy is even bigger,” Mr Walker told News24 Business Reporter Ed Boyd. “We look at it relative to how big the economy is, and for Australia, it’s less than a third of GDP.”
