‘Consequences of race-based politics’: Bell and Costa clash over backlogged land claims

​One Nation MP Sean Bell and former NSW Labor treasurer Michael Costa clash over the 44,000 backlogged indigenous land claims. ​“This has been an issue for decades,” Mr Bell told News24 host James Macpherson. ​“This process has been abused for decades. ​“You don’t pat the arsonist on the back for putting out the fire they lit. ​“These are decisions made by the Labor government, and these are the consequences that we warned would happen. ​“This is what happens when you have divisive, race-based politics. People will exploit it. ​“We will wipe this stuff out.”
