Congress REFUSED Justice Department investigation of January 6

Former House Judiciary Committee chief counsel Julian Epstein says Congress spent “years investigating January 6 and alleging all kinds of crimes” but refused to let the Justice Department properly investigate it. “If they really believed there was a crime that was committed, they could have let the Justice Department proceed with that in 2021, and they didn’t,” Mr Epstein told News24 host Elizabeth Pipko. “They wanted the political benefit and the theatre and the stage of doing their own investigations.”
