Liberal MP Melissa McIntosh has grilled Housing Minister Clare O’Neil on Australians facing higher rents due to Labor’s toxic taxes. “On Monday, the minister said she was ‘damn proud’ of Labor’s broken promises on capital gains tax and negative gearing,” Ms McIntosh said during Question Time on Wednesday. “Is the minister damn proud of making millions of Australians pay higher rents?”
