Calls for tougher regulations on birthright citizenship to prevent ‘fraud’ against Americans

Former Trump administration official Theo Wold urges the administration to establish guidelines on birthright citizenship to prevent “fraud” against the American public. “The real question will be what can the administration do regulatorily in terms of creating new guidelines or safeguards for airlines, for transit officials at our borders and air stations to ensure that individuals who are arriving aren’t doing so … to fraud the American people,” Mr Wold told News24 Digital Presenter James Bolt. “There’s a lot of work that the administration can do on regulations, on administrative procedural issues that could tamp down on this sort of blatant fraud.”
